Donna Ceccarelli is a long-term resident of Preston, where she resides with her spouse. Ceccarelli attended Mohegan Community College with a focus on business course study, and holds a Travel and Tourism diploma from the New London School of Business.

She is an Area Manager for Dime Bank’s Corporate branch in Norwich as well as the Ledyard location. Ceccarelli has 36 years of banking experience, 23 of them in management. As an area manager, she serves as trainer and mentor to her staff as well as initiating new business and personal relationships for the bank. Her financial knowledge ranges from individual accounts to large corporations and municipalities. In addition to business related skills, Ceccarelli values her role as community ambassador in her role as Area Manager as well as through her volunteer efforts.

Ceccarelli is a long-standing member of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Holiday Gala Committee, serving over two decades, assisting with fundraising for children’s charities. Ceccarelli is also a member of the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Committee which recognizes an extraordinary individual that goes above and beyond in their commitment to the civic and business community in Eastern CT. In addition to volunteering with the local chamber of commerce, Ceccarelli regularly participates in various community outreach projects throughout the year as part of Dime Bank Blue Crew serving audiences of all ages and backgrounds.



As a parent and mentor, she is drawn to Thames River and their mission to help our community. Driven to help others, she feels the greatest gift is helping others overcome their challenges.
